RTS International Internship

Reaching, Teaching, and Sending

RTS Missions Interns serve for 3-9 months at our beautiful campus in Jimani, Dominican Republic.

First year interns will serve for one (1) month.  After first initial term, intern may apply for an extended term of three to nine (3 to 9) months.

Job descriptions vary, but during your time with us, you will learn basic Spanish, experience a new culture, be deeply involved in ministry and form relationships that will last a lifetime.

Our experienced team will mentor and support interns in the field as they work together fulfilling the Great Commissions, as well as the mission and vision of RTS Missions.

​

Internship cost is $1,100 per month (airfare not included). Cost covers room and board, ministry supplies, Wi-Fi, in-country travel, as well as additional fees related to the ministry. The cost does not cover extra food, snacks and drinks you may want while traveling. Interns will have hearty meals, and plenty of bottled water.  There is a washer and dryer on campus.  RTS encourages interns to raise support for their experience.

Internship Qualifications:

• Personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
• Consistent walk with the Lord for at least the last two years
• At least eighteen years (18) of age
• Member in good standing at a local church
• Preferred conversational fluency in Spanish (Not mandatory)
• Preferred experience in the area for which you are applying

Intern Areas of Service:

• Sports Ministry (Baseball, Basketball, Volleyball)
• Next Gen Discipleship (Children, Youth, Young Adults)
• Hospitality (Serving Teams)
• Teach English as a Second Language
• Teach Music

Each area of service will have a spiritual component, as everything we do is centered around the Gospel.
